Maison

A house in Paris with two ateliers

Quenoir is small on purpose. One team, one city, two halves of the same job: the marketing that decides what a company says, and the technology that builds the sites and software it says it on. There is no network above us and no regional office to route a decision through.

Why the house

Marketing and the thing it points at are usually bought from two companies, and the seam between them becomes the client's job to manage.

Under one roof the seam is ours. A launch runs on one schedule instead of three. A change to the position reaches the product the same week, rather than after two suppliers have agreed whose scope it is. When a date moves there is one house to hold to it. Two good agencies can still leave a client with a brand the site cannot carry, or a platform nobody was briefed to sell.

The honest limit is size. This is not a media network and not an engineering department; a brief that needs the weight of one gets that answer in the first conversation. What the house is built for is the work that crosses the two halves — and iGaming, the sector that arrives with a rulebook attached, is where we have done most of it.

Principles

The positions the house states publicly

Five things a client can hold us to, whatever the brief is worth.

01

One team, brief to launch

The people who write the position make the work, in both ateliers. Nothing is handed to a department that was not in the room, and nothing is briefed twice.

02

You own what we build

Repositories, design files and accounts are yours, transferred with documentation at handover. Nothing we make is held behind a maintenance contract, and leaving does not cost you the work.

03

Weekly numbers, against the brief

The same document every week, measured against what was agreed at the start. What is not working is cut without a defence of the original idea, and a build that has slipped is reported as slipped.

04

Licensed operators, on gambling work

Our iGaming clients hold a licence in the markets they advertise in, or have an application in progress and market accordingly. Where a market has an advertising rulebook, the matrix is written before the creative brief and the work is cleared against it before production. It is a condition on that sector, not a description of the house.

05

No published client results

A client's marketing performance is their commercial property. Named work is shown in a conversation where an NDA allows it, and nowhere on this site.

Questions

What clients ask first

Are you a marketing agency or a development studio?

Both, in two ateliers under one roof. Roughly half of what we are asked for needs the two together — a launch is usually a brand, a site, a campaign and a piece of software arriving on the same day — and running that as one project is the reason we are built this way.

Can we hire you for just one of the two?

Yes, and most clients start that way. A brand, a site, a media plan or an application on its own is a normal engagement; nothing here is sold as a bundle.

What is the iGaming specialism about?

It is the sector we know best and the one with a rulebook attached: advertising rules that change by market, affiliate economics, creator programmes. We work with operators that hold a licence in the markets they advertise in, or that are actively applying for one and marketing accordingly. That condition is not negotiable, and it applies to gambling work only.

Do you work outside those sectors?

Often. The sectors listed are where we have done the most, not a filter on the enquiry. What matters more is whether the problem is one we can actually move.

How do you charge?

Monthly retainers for ongoing disciplines, fixed fees for defined projects such as an identity, a site or an application, and a hybrid where a build rolls into a retainer. We quote after the brief, never before it.

Who owns what you build?

You do — code, designs and accounts, handed over with documentation at the end of the project. We do not hold a site hostage to a maintenance contract.

Will you show us named case studies?

In a conversation, where an NDA allows it. Publishing a client's results is a commercial risk for them, so this site carries none of them.

Where are you based?

Paris. We work on Central European Time and travel to clients — the house is deliberately small and does not run regional offices.

A brief is one conversation and a written scope. If the house is the wrong answer for it, that is the reply you get.
